Annette Roman
Annette Roman has studied playwriting and performance as a graduate student at the University of California at Berkeley, undergraduate at Cornell University, the Berkeley Rep, and The Marsh Theater, San Francisco. She is the author of the graphic novel 1 World Manga: Passages, focusing on various issues facing the developing world including poverty, child soldiers, and girls’ education. In high school, she had a transformative theatrical experience while wearing mouse ears and a tail in the role of the Narrator in Franz Kafka's play Josephine the Mouse Singer.
